Everything is perfect here, had a very good stay in this lovely town. Newly remodelled rooms complete with spotless condition as well as the basics, amazing friendly and excellent staff. The location is particularly good and magnificent, right in the centre.

The breakfast was rich with soya milk, bacon plus fresh breads and frequently replenished. The staff was efficient and absolutely excellent in any situation.

Convenient for St Jean station Rooms on outside can be noisy

I chose the Best Western Royal St Jean because I was travelling from England to Bordeaux to attend a wedding. I travelled on Eurostar from London to Lille and tgv from Little to Bordeaux. I wanted a hotel near the Railway Station because I arrived very late in the evening. The two receptionists were absolutely sweet and most helpful. My room was very comfortable and my breakfast was excellent. I took a tram from the station into the town centre the next morning. Isin't Bordeaux beautiful! There was only one ugly building - the concrete Conservatoire of Music building. Why was this building allowed in your beautiful city? It was in every way a very pleasant stay. Thank you. Rosemary.

It has incredible central location 5min to the train station. The rooms are well-appointed and the staff is excellent.

The room we had was updated and compact, came with coffee machine and a bath plus the basics. The staff - exceptionally nice and were eager to help with the requests.

I recently stayed at a hotel very close to the train station and a charming historic square with lots of restaurants. The location was convenient and made it easy to explore the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even going out of their way to find alternate transportation for me during a transportation strike. The breakfast was enjoyable and started my mornings off right.
